Née à Montréal , Denyse Brault a toujours été fascinée par le monde des arts. Elle a obtenu un D.E.C. en arts-plastiques au C.E.G.E.P. Lionel-Groulx de Ste-Thérèse puis un BAC en enseignement des arts-visuels à l'Université Laval à Québec .
Durant huit années, Mme Brault a pratiqué l'enseignement des arts-plastiques au secondaire dans plusieurs régions du Québec.
Constatant les bienfaits des arts sur le comportement et l'estime de soi des jeunes en difficultés, elle a réorienté sa carrière pour se spécialiser comme psychologue (www.denysebraultpsychologue.com) auprès des jeunes et depuis , elle utilise les arts et le jeu pour les aider à guérir et à cheminer vers une plus grande harmonie intérieure.
Tout au long de ces années, Denyse Brault a toujours continué de créer avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme. Elle a exploré plusieurs médiums dont la peinture sur soie, la photographie, l'aquarelle, l'acrylique et le bâton à l'huile. Elle a participé à plusieurs expositions au Québec et sa passion de plus en plus grandissante pour la peinture l'amène à lui donner une place très importante dans sa vie.
Sa démarche de création se projette dans un style reflétant sa vitalité et sa passion pour la beauté des couleurs et de la nature.

Born in Montréal , Denyse Brault has always been involved in the world of art. After obtaining a college degree in visual arts, she earned a bachelor's degree in art education at Laval University, in Québec City.
Following her studies, Denyse Brault worked as an art teacher for eigth years before reorienting her career. Now, as a youth psychologist (www.denysebraultpsychologue.com), she uses art as a therapeutic tool in her work with her clients, helping them heal and find inner harmony.
Through the years, Denyse Brault has always continued create with enthousiam, exploring mediums like silk painting, photography, watercolor, acrylic and oïl sticks. For some time now, her favorite medium has been acrylic, which allows her to express the pleasure and the movement of life. She explores these themes through color and line, seeking an increasing spontaneity in her renditions.
The abundance of life expressed in flora is the primary source of her artistic inspiration.
Since moving to Orford, she has been featured in a number of exibitions in the Eastern Townships. Her works have been shown on several occasions at the Galerie Artazo in Sherbrooke and Place des Artistes in Magog.
She also participated in the 6th and 13th editions of the Visa-Art event in 1988 and 2005, as well as the Symposium du Jardin Marisol in Bromont in the summer 1998, where the jury awarded her Honorable Mention for the technical quality of her work. Since 1999, she has frequently been part of the Circuit des Arts Memphrémagog, during which she exibits her work in her own studio.
